Job Description

Facebooks Enterprise Product team is responsible for building integrated, scalable, and robust enterprise applications. We are currently looking for an experienced, insightful, forward-thinking Application Manager with a strong ability to design and execute products and solutions that power the enterprise. As a valued member of this team, you will be working with Finance teams to provide Oracle ERP Cloud based or custom-built solutions to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and compliance in support of business objectives.

Application Manager, Accounting Responsibilities

* Support, provide subject matter expertise for Fusion Financials, and configure Fusion General Ledger, Cash Management, Intercompany, Fusion Enterprise structures and Fixed Assets

* Define strategy and manage a roadmap aligned with business and company objectives

* Design and deliver scalable accounting processes and solutions. Recommend Fusion product capabilities to scale business process to extreme scalability

* Ability to think beyond out of box product capabilities to build efficient and scalable solutions

* Define, instrument and track relevant product goals and success metrics to continually measure and uphold high quality solutions

* Support accounting, Audit and finance teams during period close and statutory compliance audits

* Design global processes and ensure local regulation compliance

* Launch new legal entities supporting business growth, navigating through local and compliance to US GAAP, IFRS and local accounting standards

* Own Facebooks Fusion enterprise structure and identify right enterprise structure mapping and definition for new entities

* Develop and maintain a well-coordinated internal relationship with key decision makers and with the wider enterprise engineering organization

* Own and configure Fusion applications, guide the team on right upstream configurations for end-to-end process scalability

* See big picture impact of enterprise structure changes, end-to-end solution

* Work with engineering teams to proto type, design and build products on Facebooks internal tech stack

* Collaborate and influence cross functional teams on process optimization. Guide business partners and internal teams on making right decisions

Minimum Qualifications

* Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Business, Accounting Info Systems or Data Science

* 5+ years hands-on experience with General Ledger, Intercompany, Cash Management, FX accounting, Financials statement reporting (FRS) on Oracle Fusion Cloud and Oracle EBS systems

* Oracle Fusion Financials expert with hands-on experience in configuring, implementing and scaling Fusion Financials systems for global organizations

* Sound understanding of Fusion subledgers like Payable, Receivables, Fixed Assets, Costing and supply chain modules specifically Accounting impact

* Well versed with Fusion Enterprise structure definition, Chart of Accounts, Ledgers, Business Units and relevant entity definitions

* Proven experience in execution focus and navigate through complex business problems independently

* Understanding of Fusion cloud integration and reporting capabilities

* Expert in SQL in Oracle and MySQL databases

* Product management skills and experience leveraging data to solve and prioritize business problems

Preferred Qualifications

* Oracle Cloud Financial products Certification

* Proficient in BIP and OTBI reports

* Good understanding of Fusion integration using FBDI and web service calls

* Understanding of design and use of web services & related standards (REST, SOAP, xml, json)
