The Role

Capital One has invested significant time and money maturing our data ecosystem, and our Platform Services team is selectively recruiting a high energy, forward-thinking Digital Product Manager to build the tools for how the company will use data to innovate.

As a company thats both highly regulated and being disrupted by FinTech, Capital One requires solutions supporting lightning-quick time to insight with the right level of governance for compliance audits. As anInnovation Spaces Product Manager, the tools to quickly generate and share customer insights are in your hands.

The ideal candidate has both developed insights from large amounts of data and has managed a digital product through the Discovery to Launch lifecycle. Youre familiar with data manipulation languages like SQL and Python. You are entrepreneurial by nature and completely comfortable understanding and aligning objectives across a diverse organization.

In this role, you will be:

* Leading consumer research within our data community and synthesizing it into new product ideas

* Measuring customer satisfaction and driving adoption of our data management SaaS platform

* Building product cases for new features and product concepts

* Defining, building towards, and launching MVPs

* Defining product KPIs and success metrics and providing updates to senior leadership

* Establishing product testing plans and building roadmaps

* Defining and owning the product backlog for the development teams

* Taking customer feedback and contributing to the overall product strategy

* Working with customer stakeholders to evaluate existing solutions and prioritize core platform features

* Defining contribution frameworks business users will utilize to share knowledge across the enterprise

What you will bring to the role:

* A bias toward action and a proven track record of delivering minimum viable products to market at rapid speed

* Excellent communication skills to navigate a matrixed organization, tell compelling stories with ease to senior executives, and inspire teams about things that should exist that dont exist yet

* Ability to proactively identify impediments on the critical path and remove them

* A structured problem-solving approach to help a team work through a wide range of issues

* Intellectual curiosity for emerging technologies and engineering challenges

* Ability to prioritize across different types of value dimensions

* Ability to actively seek out multiple opinions, yet make independent decisions and influence positive outcomes

* Ability to keep the crowd warmed up while the team fixes the broken demo

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelors Degree or military experience

* At least 3 years of experience in digital product management for internal or external products

* At least 1 year of experience in Agile product management/ownership

Preferred Qualifications:

* 3+ years of experience in digital product management for internal or external products

* 3+ years of experience in Agile product management/ownership

* 1+ years experience performing Business Analyst or Data Analyst activities

* 1+ years of experience using BI, Analytics, and/or Notebook solutions (e.g. Databricks)

* 1+ years of experience working in or supporting a technology governance function
