This Voice & Collaboration (V&C) Principal Architect technical sales position is responsible for leading complex customer architecture design efforts combining multiple products, services, applications, and/or solutions in order to help customers solve their strategic business needs. Focus will be on driving sales and establishing repeatable solutions working on close concert with AT&Ts custom solution organization and AT&T Product Teams.

What youll do:

* Acute awareness and expert knowledge of the V&C ecosystem (players/offers/architecture/integration/interoperability)
* Work in close partnership with Product/Partners/NI COE/Custom Review Board to ensure best in class approach to engineering and architecture across the network and applications layer that secures us client wins on custom/complex opportunities
* In partnership with the aforementioned organizations will also be responsible for vetting supplier capabilities and ensuring that the Day 0~2 experience is homogenized across our product offerings and templatized across large complex sales to assure client satisfaction, assure high probability of close and assure CX experience is flawless and keeps our clients coming back for more.
* Will be responsible for influencing the future roadmap of our product platforms and providing expert guidance/counsel to Product Management a key requirement in ensuring we sustain market share
* Plan and direct the technical selling efforts including Voice, Collaboration and Contact Center services which include the following, Cisco IP Telephony, Office@Hand and Microsoft Teams, AT&T Webex Calling and Webex Conferencing services, Zoom and Contact Center technologies such as Five 9, Genesys and InContact.
* Develops technical sales approaches to accelerate technology adoption, reduce deployment timeframes and minimize risks.
* Serves as coordinator and technical expert in facilitation of multi product/service design, business processes and functional areas associated with the solution architecture and design.
* Coordinate with AT&T custom solution organization, represent customer needs, develop proposed custom designs for approval, and create repeatable solutions.
* Responsibilities include solution configuration and design, proposal development and presentation, application and industry support, project management, implementation and technical assurance.
* Delivers, manages and consults on strategic network services solutions based upon specific customer needs as identified in the account planning process.
* Responsible to seek out and develop external partnerships for key strategic opportunities for custom/complex solutions that drive value back to the business and customer.
* Liaison to partner organizations (GSE, IS (formally Network Integration), Product Management, AT&T Labs, Network Design and Consulting, AT&T Consulting)
* Functions independently, establishing short and long term objectives. Determines work activities necessary to meet objectives.
* Responsible to continue to build/achieve industry level certifications and demonstrate subject matter expertise on the core V&C portfolio technology stack.

What youll need:

* 10 to 15 years of direct work experience in the contact center, collaboration or cloud space.
* Position would require achievement of Industry certifications, examples being Cisco Webex Calling and Webex Contact Center, Five9 Administrator, Genesys Cloud, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
* Strategic and Consultative Sales Skills with experience in following solution areas
* Industry leading Hosted/Cloud Voice Solutions Cisco Webex Calling, Ring Central, 8x8, Avaya, Mitel, Microsoft Teams, Zoom
* Cloud Collaboration and Conferencing Cisco Webex, Zoom, Microsoft Teams
* Contact Center Five9, Genesys, Avaya, Nice InContact, Inference, Salesforce
* Must possess innate ability to drive engagement through all stages of the Integrated Solution Sales Lifecycle Design, Price, Propose, Contract, Close
* Vertical Sales experience in IT Solutions Selling to any of the following industry verticals is a plus: Retail, Manufacturing, Finance, Healthcare, Transportation/Logistics, Consumer Packaged Goods, etc.
* Strong Technical Knowledge of IP Networks (AVPN/SIP and SD WAN Technologies) and integration with cloud-based Unified Communications and Collaboration application services (UCaaS, Audio/Web/ Video Conferencing, Contact Center, and CPaaS services ) to drive voice transformation across the business enterprise and knowledge of foundational AT&T company products and services such a network, toll-free, SD-WAN, BVoIP, Internet and AVPN
* Well versed in enterprise architecture/IT Strategies
* Experience in providing multi offer solution-oriented architecture designs. Serve as the technical lead on multiple, mission critical sales projects, across the module requiring a high degree of collaboration. Consults, advises and directs others about architectural concepts, principles, strategies and alternatives.

Education: Bachelors degree required. Masters degree preferred.
