Are you passionate about automating and building large-scale self-service marketing tools and systems? If so, come join an engaging and dynamic team where you will work with marketing researchers, economists, data engineers and technical program managers to automate marketing measurement systems that will deliver tremendous impact across multiple teams at Amazon.

You will build sophisticated marketing measurement platforms that derive data-driven insights from machine learning models and will enable campaign managers and portfolio planning teams to direct strategic investments. The team will rely on your expertise to automate the manual analysis process from start to end and to create a flexible user interface that can effectively engage with stakeholders directly. The system you deliver will be widely used by marketing teams and guide them through many impactful strategic business decisions.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C including object-oriented design
1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
Proficiency as a Python Developer in at least one popular Python framework (Django, Flask or Pyramid)
Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML5 and JavaScript
Knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals such as object-oriented design, algorithm design, data structures, problem solving, and complexity analysis.
2+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design patterns of new and current systems, including reliability, security, performance and scalability
Previous experience on business intelligence automation using platforms such as Amazon QuickSight, Tableau, or others
Previous experience integrating multiple applications and data APIs
Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to gather user requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy.
Ability to work well with others and be both highly motivated and engaging
Demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast paced environment
Excellent leadership, verbal and written communication skills
