Position Summary
This position is responsible for testing products in a high-paced manufacturing environment. This will include sample preparation, testing, documentation and analysis of the samples. You will be responsible for providing direct support to all levels of the organization including Engineering and Operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Follow all safety and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) requirements
* Follow written protocols to complete testing including tensile testing, pressure testing and other techniques
* Preparation of samples to be used for testing including serializing, categorizing and processing
* Organizing, testing, documenting and communicating results
* Data entry of results stemming from tests performed
* Providing clear and concise test results for others to review
* Assistance in the verification/validation of tooling by performing testing
* Work with cross-functional teams to collect required information on the manufacturing floor
* Support execution of new equipment validation tests as needed
* Work schedule 2013 3 pm to 11 pm shifts
Skills and Abilities
* Minimum Associates degree in Technical Field
* Ability to work in a high-paced manufacturing facility
* Self-directed and requiring minimal supervision
* High aptitude for mechanical property testing
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of Programs (MS Excel, MS Word, MS Power Point, etc.)
* Data analysis skills 2013 data entry, trending, graphing, etc.
* Ability to work 3rd shift and potential for overtime as needed
* Team-player with excellent communication skills
* Highly organized
* Excellent attention to detail
* Ability to work to deadlines, estimate work timing, and escalate issues as appropriate
