How will you make an impact?
Using appropriate interpersonal styles, methods, mechanical ability, and leadership skills to guide individuals and groups (subordinate, peers, or superiors) toward task accomplishment in the optimum operations of packaging lines. Interacting with several levels of the organization via phone, email, and in person. Fast Paced work environment that requires attention to detail and accuracy.

Thorough knowledge and understanding of procedure and policy in relation to production is essential. Typical shift is 12-hour days on a 3-2-2 rotation; 7:00a-7:00p.
What will you do?

* Ensure operations are performed in a safe and responsible manner striving to create an injury-free and incident-free workplace.
* Coordinate and delegate tasks and motivate personnel to ensure finished product is in accordance to cGMP requirements.
* Commit to an action or develop an alternative course of action that is based on logical assumptions and factual information to meet production schedules and targets in accordance with changing priorities. Take into consideration resources and constraints.
* Gather information to accurately identify the root cause of problems in equipment or work processes. Take corrective action in a timely manner.
* Troubleshoot operational and production problems in order to identify appropriate corrective actions.
* Knowledge of the disassembly and assembly of mechanical, electrical/electronic assemblies and equipment to include repairs/replacements of major components working from blueprints, assembly diagrams, electrical/electronic, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics, or other technical instructions.
* Proactively communicate and work to resolve any production, quality or safety issues.
* Foster crew teamwork in such a way that promotes increasing employee knowledge and skills.
* Must possess mechanical, electrical/electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic knowledge concerning industrial equipment specific to the pharmaceutical industry.
* Comply with all job-related safety, cGMP, and other department procedural requirements.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

How will you get here?
Education:

* High School Diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred.

Experience:

* Must have at least 3 years of manufacturing or pharmaceutical experience and 1 year in a leadership role is preferred.
* Experience in FDA regulated industry (preferably Pharmaceutical).
* Lean Manufacturing experience (Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, etc.).
* Solid dosage form experience, other dosage forms a plus

Equivalency:

* With an associate degree, 2 years of manufacturing or pharmaceutical experience and 1 year in a leadership role will be considered.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

* Drive fork truck and other mobile equipment to relocate product and components as needed.
* Demonstrate punctuality and sense of responsibility through adherence to department attendance guidelines.
* Plan, prepare and execute a work routine that will ensure that all necessary tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner to ensure a quality product as well as schedule adherence.
* Lead and motivate all crew members in the area to ensure that the tasks required are completed in a timely manner as well as accurately.
