Position Summary

Responsible for the inspection of completed and packaged BioProcess Containers in a cleanroom environment. QC inspection personnel are required to follow Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instruction Documents and technical drawings and specifications as they relate to assembled and packaged.

Responsible for first piece and in-process inspection
2022Responsible for recording and documenting all inspection results
2022Responsible for dimensional and visual inspections
2022Trains employees in work procedures and quality requirements
2022Responsible for verifying samples and monitoring quality of product
2022Responsible for bar code verification
2022Responsible for clean room air pressure log sheet
2022Reviews and verifies preventative maintenance book
2022Reviews and verifies daily, weekly, and semi-annual cleaning chart
2022Responsible for random inspections
2022Responsible for writing MNCs
2022Responsible for final product inspection
2022Verifies shipping labels
2022Ensure that operations personnel adhere to standard operating procedures and follow Batch Record instructions

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

* Accurately follow procedures
* Participate in continues improvement teams through PPI
* Ability to do visual inspections for fine detail inspection.
* Ability to identify safety hazards

Preferred Qualifications:
High School or GED
Capability to read/understand drafting sheets (CAD)

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

* Work in a fast -paced controlled cleanroom environment 8 hours a day with additional overtime as required for production schedule adherence
* Work in a clean-room which is a controlled environment for temperature and humidity having low ambient noise
* Must be able to wear gowning which includes: gloves, hair & beard net and face cover, safety glasses with no makeup / jewelry, and the like
* Utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and understand chemical hygiene
* Infrequently lift and manipulate up to 50 pounds max unassisted
* Stand and move about including reaching, bending, stooping, grasping
* Use hand tools and equipment including forceful gripping, grasping, pushing and pulling
