Responsibilities
We are seeking 9 detail oriented, customer service focused and very reliable individuals to join us as Life Customer Services Assistants. Our team of Life Customer Service Assistants service existing policies which includes: data input, completing policy change requests, processing disbursements, death claim disbursements, premium payments, and assembling policies.
Life Customer Service Assistants are responsible for working directly with State Farm Agents and addressing customer service inquiries by researching account histories and providing solution options.
Office Location: Bloomington,IL, where we work hard AND play hard!
Qualifications
These positions are for the Fixed Annuities team, Annuity Supplementary Contracts (ASC) Claims team, and the ASC Response Center team. This is a customer and agent facing call center. We are looking for positive individuals who are self-motivated and work well within a team environment. In the midst of change, we are looking for adaptive personalities who can be flexible to continuous learning and driving positive change.
* Ability to multi-task with multiple systems at one time is essential.
* Work is currently remote, but applicants will be expected to report to work in person when department returns to office.
* Video participation is expected during onboarding, training, and meetings.
* Employees will be assigned a schedule and must be able to work any shift within the hours of operation. Department hours are: Mon-Fri 8:00 am - 6:00pm Central. Different work shifts may be available if it meets the need of the associate and our customer.
* Saturdays and overtime hours as needed during high volume and promotions.

Incumbency: All employees hired into the Life Customer Service Assistant position are subject to a 12-month incumbency period (beginning on the effective date in this position) which must be met before the incumbent can post or be considered for other opportunities. Exceptions to the incumbency period may be considered for promotional opportunities and will be considered on an individual basis, consistent with business needs and management approval. This does not affect the at-will relationship between State Farm and you, the employee, and does not create an employment contract, nor contractual rights.
