Comprised of four centralized teams, and three co-marketing teams aligned to regions, we unify our partner marketing efforts across the company with data, clarity and alignment.
The Partner Solution Marketing team is focused on integrating partners into the DNA of Salesforce through strategic marketing programs aligned with Corporate Marketing Industry and Product teams as well as priority initiatives that help elevate the value of partners through content and storytelling. Specifically, we support selected global partners with co-developed high value solutions, launch and go-to-market with Salesforce, maximizing partner integration into Salesforce industry and product sales plays and marketing campaigns to engage customers and accelerate pipeline growth.

Job Summary
Partner Solutions Marketing is looking for a well-rounded, detail-driven marketer with a can do attitude, who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and often help build the plane as we fly it. As a Manager in Partner Solutions Marketing, you will have a focus primarily on Industry solutions and help drive joint go-to-market plans with consulting partners. This requires leveraging strategic Industry plays that include partners, and that align to partner business plans, to deliver integrated joint industry marketing programs. You will create and tell inspirational stories bridging partner, customer, and Salesforce narratives that help convey and demonstrate the value of partners in solutions to Salesforce stakeholders. Success will be measured by our ability to elevate the role of partners in solutions as well as by joint pipeline and deals that mature to closure.
In this role, you will think strategically and execute with purpose in an exciting and dynamic technology space. The ideal candidate has the ability to work collaboratively and deliver results in a matrixed environment and enjoys interacting cross-functionally. You will serve as collaborative business partner, connecting the dots across Alliances (including regional partner marketing), Corporate Marketing, PR, and internal enablement. You will also be an expert communicator who blends B2B marketing expertise with a wide range of go-to-market activities and the willingness to drive hands-on, tactical execution of marketing activities with partners.
This role entails managing competing priorities and you will need excellent planning, organizational, and prioritization skills. A data-driven mindset and analytical capability is key for understanding and optimizing joint messaging, positioning, demand generation campaigns, and high impact outcomes.
Responsibilities & Impact
* Understand the global consulting partner business and unique business plans to manage focused industry partner solution marketing strategies and programs
* Maintain focus on delivering high-impact quality campaigns over a volume of tactical marketing activities
* Manage and create communications to support business priorities, vision and strategy with a whats in it for me approach to business partner communications
* Process and methodology driven; able to visualize and manage project/campaign plans, milestones, and outcome reporting independently and with a repeatable approach for partner marketing
* Execute programs from planning through delivery to achieve joint marketing pipeline against prioritized Industry sales plays with consulting partners
* Drive internal and customer validation of our value proposition of partners integrated with solutions
* Develop and deliver effective marketing materials, making it easy for sales to understand our partner offerings and key positioning
* Use available market data, pipeline data, and campaign metrics to optimize and focus on impact as well as provide performance updates to stakeholders
* Willing to travel to support key events (currently not predictable/pending on COVID-19)
30-60-90 Day Outlook:
* 30-day: Within your first 30 days, you will acquire a functional understanding of the value proposition of consulting partners to Salesforce customers as well as more specifically how their services and solutions support distinct business challenges of our customers. You will develop an understanding of the Industry and Product marketing motions globally. You will also familiarize yourself with the relationships required to successfully integrate partners into the DNA of Salesforce and the priorities of our business stakeholders.
* 60-day: Within your first 60 days, you will have done a deep dive on 1-2 industry marketing plans as well as develop an understanding of our industry go-to-market strategy, priority plays, and evaluate the best opportunities for integrating partners into campaigns, customer stories, thought leadership, Salesforce as well as third-party events, and the KPIs associated with these opportunities. You will also deep dive on 1-2 prioritized partner business and marketing plans to understand the alignment and integration opportunities with our industry teams. You will have met key internal stakeholders to establish areas of focus for the remainder of the year.
* 90 day: Within your first 90 days, you will be independently managing prioritized partners for select industry initiatives and you will develop the necessary messaging and marketing materials to support the internal and external execution of your solution campaigns. You will continue to build and establish working relationships across key functions of Partner Marketing, Alliances & Channels, and Corporate Marketing. You will have formalized your priorities for the next quarter+ as well as your personal goals.
Required Skills & Experience
* 5-7+ years in marketing, preferably B2B marketing for an enterprise tech product with experience in content creation, GTM strategy and executing integrated marketing campaigns
* Experience working with senior leaders, exceptional team player with proven ability to lead through influence
* Proven track record in performing well in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment and organizational skills to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines effectively
* Demonstrated experience developing high-impact product positioning, messaging, thought leadership, and marketing assets
* Ability to develop effective internal marketing materials, making it easy for sales to understand our partners offerings and key positioning
* Strong communicator with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
* Leverage data and feedback to improve processes and outcomes
* Creative and innovative thinking with a willingness to take risk, fail fast, iterate and learn
* Entrepreneurial spirit and confidence to pick up and lead new projects
