Position Overview
The Sr. HRIS Analyst, under limited supervision provides functional and technical Workday support with a focus around Global Benefits and Compensation configuration and support. Works closely with the Benefits and Compensation departments to provide support and maintenance of benefit and compensation plans and rate structures in the HRIS system. Supports global Workday updates, implementation of functionality, testing and other technical projects as assigned.
Responsibilities
Benefits Support/Maintenance
* Provides support and maintenance of benefit plans within the HRIS system, Workday.
* Responsible for annual open enrollment configuration in Workday, including launch, monitoring, close and finalizing.
* Ensures the accuracy and integrity of data entry in Workday and provides support on HRIS updates and projects, including fit gap analysis, configuration and system testing related to Global Benefits.
* Configures system for legislative updates as required.
* Benefits reporting/audits/integrations: Creates and maintains a variety of reports including vendor requested, updates existing delivered or customized reports upon request from benefit vendors, standard and adhoc report requests in support of employee benefit related information.
* Helps maintain data integrity in systems by running audits and analyzing data.
* Works with HR/IT and benefit providers to troubleshoot integration issues.
* Benefits training: Assists with the development of user procedures, guidelines and documentation related to Global Benefits, including annual open enrollment.
* Trains Benefit Partner and internal clients on new processes/functionality related to Global Benefits.
Compensation Support/Maintenance
* Provides support and maintenance of compensation plans within the HRIS system, Workday.
* Responsible for the configuration of Goals, Performance, Merit and Bonus processes, including launch, monitoring, as well as any EIBs needed to ensure accuracy and integrity of the data.
* Compensation reporting/audits: Creates and maintains a variety of reports including Executive Committee dashboards.
* Ensures the accuracy and integrity of data entry in Workday and provides support on HRIS updates and projects, including fit gap analysis, configuration and system testing related to Global Compensation.
HR Systems
* HR Process & Systems Support: Acts as a key contact for the HR Systems Support inbox. This includes but is not limited to troubleshooting, user support, and escalating more complex issues to colleagues for resolution.
* Using data from the support inbox and other sources, this role identifies and communicates potential system issues and training opportunities.
* Projects/Process Improvement: Applies change management experience to facilitate movement to new levels of quality.
* Identifies and understands issues, problems and opportunities.

* Uses effective approaches for choosing a course of action or develop appropriate solutions.

* Individual Development: Maintains awareness of current trends in global HCM with a focus on Benefits and Compensation. Through classes, reading or other mechanisms, continuously increases both HR knowledge and global Benefits and Compensation application/tools knowledge.
* Participates in user group meetings/conferences.
* Remains current on pertinent laws and regulations affecting Benefits and Compensation and having a thorough understanding of the laws.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Required:
* Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
* 5-8 years of experience including:
* 2+ years HRIS experience
* 3+ years HR experience
* 2+ years experience in benefits and compensation administration
Preferred:
* Bachelors degree in HR or Information Systems
* 4-5 years HRIS experience
* Global HCM/Benefits experience
* Workday experience
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Required:
* Global HCM experience
* Intermediate Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
* Knowledge in the administration and compliance of federal/state laws regarding FMLA, OSHA, ADA, ERISA, and Workers Compensation
* Competent understanding of HR processes, policies and data, including eligibility rules, benefit and compensation procedures
* Advanced oral and written communication skills and organizational skills
* Ability to liaise with individuals across a wide variety of operational, functional, and technical disciplines and work well with all levels of management
* Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills
* Attention to detail
* Ability to translate business needs and problems into systems design and technical solutions
* Competent project management skills
