What will you work on

You will be creating and delivering one-stop, integrated process and technology solutions that enable Nike, Inc.s businesses and brands worldwide. Our focus is on providing lean solutions that eliminate waste, maximize customer value, and drive profitable business growth. Our server fleet provides compute resources to all of Nike, Incs service channels, and locations globally. You will be engineering Windows Server solutions within Azure, AWS, Alibaba, GCP, Data Centers, Retail Stores, Distribution Facilities, and Manufacturing factories.

Who will you work with

You will work with world-class people and be part of the Windows Platforms Engineering team. The business partners and other teams include Public and Private Cloud engineering, Corporate & Campus Security, Product Innovation, Manufacturing, Distribution Facilities, and Retail divisions.

What you bring to Nike

* Excellent communication of complex topics to a diverse audience and positive customer service skills to exemplify strong leadership identity
* Ability to lead, build positive business relationships, and influence collaboratively across IT and the Nike Business teams
* Passion and competency for mentoring, growing and developing the skills of other analysts and team members
* Self-driven inquisitive personality

In addition to those general role responsibilities, youll need some specific experience and have some specific accountability, including:

* Advanced level of server and remote support knowledge. This experience should include the following: Windows Server (2012, 2016, 2019), Hyper V (2012, 2016, 2019), Active Directory, System Center, PowerShell, Containers, Azure DevOps, Git, OSD and MDT imaging. Packer, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins experience is a plus!
* Group Policy administration via AGPM, and DSC
* Cloud and Data Center platform experience with Azure, AWS, Alibaba, VMware, or Google
* Experience with Service Now, Jira, and Confluence
* Intermediate to advanced understanding and experience with Enterprise Network Infrastructure and Topology
* Enterprise security knowledge & awareness including Vulnerability Management, PCI, Identity Management, etc.
* Project management and organizational skills must be sophisticated enough to be able to track and drive sophisticated global technical initiatives to completion with the assistance of Retail IT/third party vendor staff
* Ability to support working outside of normal business hours to provide after hour or on-call support when vital to solve high profile issues or complete critical path projects
* Candidate would benefit from application engineering and deployment/build experience

To make it clear, were not looking for just anyone. Were looking for someone special, someone who had these experiences and clearly demonstrated these skills:

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or a related field
* 5+ years' experience in IT, business or a related field
* 2 years' additional experience required in lieu of a degree
* Ability to pull a diverse group of individuals with different goals together and facilitate productive discussions
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
* Flexible, ability to deal with ambiguity, and a demonstrated desire for continuous personal growth
* Demonstrated leadership capability, including ability to empower and mentor others within work group
* Ability to work with onshore/offshore teams, and communicate using virtual communication tools (phone, conferencing, online meeting)
* Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills to effectively communicate with both business and technical IT teams
