Program Description:
Reconnaissance and Targeting Systems (RTS) has an opening for a Contracts Professional to support the pursuit of various RTS domestic and Foreign Military Sale (FMS) agreements, as well as administer various contracts within a diverse portfolio. Additionally, this position will be required to support contract/program meetings and discussions with customer buying agencies and RTS Program Leadership, as needed. Note: This position may work virtually in support of this McKinney, TX Program area.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be an integral part of RTS Contracts Team and be responsible for supporting Request for Proposal (RFP) activities, supporting proposal strategies, and supporting proposal development, contract negotiation, and general contract administration. The successful applicant will work closely with RTS customers to develop business relationships and resolve contracting matters. The successful applicant must be able to professionally represent Raytheon on contractual transactions. Given the dynamics of RTS programs, this assignment requires an ability to develop and maintain trusting relationships with external and internal customers. Some domestic travel may be required.
In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible to support other contracts professionals on development programs and proposal efforts. This position also requires close work and communication in support of RTS Contracts Managers to identify, mitigate, and facilitate the resolution of contractual issues as they may arise.
Required Skills:
* Minimum six years of experience working with contractual agreements
* Experience in contract negotiations and supporting the creation of proposal documents
* Working knowledge of Corporate T&C Guidelines
* Knowledge of FAR/DFARS regulations
* Knowledge of International Traffic and Arms Regulations (ITAR)
* Ability to support business solutions for customers with varying needs
* Effective communicator both orally and in writing with strong analytical and interpersonal skills
* Ability to foster good customer relationships and be a trusted partner on all contractual matters
* Ability to work within a team and to foster teamwork and trust
* Willingness to travel domestically
* U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.
