Our Cybersecurity team in Fulton, MD, is presently seeking an Information System Security Manager (ISSM) to join the team. Capped relocation support is available, see below for further details regarding what we offer.

Job Summary:
The ISSM is responsible for the Cybersecurity program as stipulated by various US Government requirements including (but not limited to): National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM) and related documentation such as DCSA Authorization and Assessment Process Manual (DAAPM) as well as customer/contract specific Cybersecurity regulations. Components of the Cybersecurity program include Assessment and Authorization (A&A) activities (documentation preparation, system configuration/validation, certification testing, etc.), security sustainment activities (hardware change management, software change management, account management, media protection, user interface, file transfers, etc.), conducting self-inspections, audit trail review, and delivering information systems security education and awareness. This position manages the Cybersecurity incident response program as well as interfaces with other team members, other security disciplines (industrial security, physical security, special programs security, etc.), program personnel and government security representatives.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

* Partners with the Facility Security officer (FSO) and may provide support on Industrial Security matters
* Participates in interdepartmental projects and provides council on Cybersecurity policy and procedures
* Conducts training, briefings, presentations for multiple levels of the business
* Business travel as needed up to 20%
* Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Cybersecurity Manager

This position can be a Senior Cyber Technologist II or a Principal Cyber Technologist, based on the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position.

Important note: Within six months of hire date, you must obtain and maintain a DoDD 8570.01-M IAM Level 3 certified credentials (CISSP or other), if you do not already have this certification.

Qualifications You Must Have:

* Bachelor's Degree in either Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Information Technology, Criminal Justice, STEM, or Business. Other degrees may be considered. In lieu of a degree, you must have 8 years of cyber / systems security experience
* An advanced degree in a related field may be substituted for additional years of experience as follows: Masters is equal to 2 years of experience or a Ph.D. is equal to 4 years of experience.
* Sr Cyber Technologist II: Minimum 6 years of cyber / systems security experience (14 years without a degree)
* Principal Cyber Technologist: Minimum 8 years of cyber / systems security experience (16 years without a degree)
* An active and in-scope Secret US security clearance
* You must currently possess DoDD 8570.01-M IAM level 2 certified credentials (Security+CE, CYSA+ or other)
* Experience with network security architecture and/or systems security, which includes any of the following: topology, protocols, components, and/or principles (e.g., application of defense-in-depth)
* Experience with configuring and/or auditing operating systems
* Experience in any of the following: DoD Manuals 8500 series, NIST Special Publications (800-53, 800-37, etc.) SNAC Guides, Nessus, SCAP, NISPOM, ICD-503 and/or ACAS

Qualifications We Value:

* Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Criminal Justice, Business or other relevant degree
* Experience in the oversight and execution of the Assessment & Authorization processes (Certification & Accreditation), as defined in JSIG/RMF
* Experience in the execution and management of Information Systems (IS) incident response and administrative inquiries/investigations in collaboration with the Investigations department
* Experience in the oversight and execution of a continuous monitoring/improvement program (to include but not limited to self-inspections, security control assessments, training, log management systems, automated inventory utilities, etc.)
* Experience providing technical security expertise and oversight for complex, cross-domain, heterogeneous classified networked environments in collaboration with internal/external Customers, Information Technology (IT) and other Raytheon Missiles & Defense Business Units
* Experience with various types of special test equipment (STE), and/or platform IT
* Experience with any of the following: NISPOM, JAFAN 6/3, DCID 6/3, JSIG/RMF, and ICD-503 or equivalent requirements to include technical computer/network system auditing
* Experience in professional engagements with internal and external customers (i.e. AOs, DAOs, SCAs, Program Managers, etc.), to include negotiating controls/requirements with government Contracting Activities
