* Understanding of the IT infrastructure and information security environment while supporting a wide range of firm technologies;
* Contributing to the development of new subject matter or technical domain specialization;
* Resolving problems with multiple stakeholders by continuously applying significant independent judgment and by collaborating with others; and,
* Working knowledge of the following operational areas; Server OS and virtualization , Directory Services, LAN/WAN Implementation, Web Application Hosting, Firewalls, Database administration, Scripting (Python or bash), Enterprise networking (switching, routing, load balancers, DNS), SIEM, Storage, Backup & Recovery, Vulnerability and Patch Management.

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

* Supporting systems including project participation for refresh and expansion activities;
* Influencing others through a small team of direct reports, through work on projects and in teams, or through leading portions of larger projects;

* Handling complex issues that require advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques;
* Contributing new intellectual capital through the development of standard operational policies and procedures;
* Planning the expansion and growth of the IT and security environment, maintenance, refresh, and upgrades of systems providing infrastructure and information security services;
* Collaborating and sharing industry leading practices in IT;
* Developing documentation including technical environment, processes and procedures for consistent maintenance and support;
* Developing utilities to automate repetitive tasks to reduce time of support;
* Interacting with customers and/or functional peer group managers, IT, and information security management on moderately complex issues;
* Documenting concepts and procedures and cross training others; and,
* Maintaining secure and effective technical infrastructure services.
