A career in Information Security, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to develop and support our internal security technologies and services across the entire global and local PwC network. * Understanding of the IT infrastructure and information security environment while supporting a wide range of firm technologies;
* Contributing to the development of new subject matter or technical domain specialization;
* Resolving problems with multiple stakeholders by continuously applying significant independent judgment and by collaborating with others; and,
* Working knowledge of the following operational areas; Server OS and virtualization , Directory Services, LAN/WAN Implementation, Web Application Hosting, Firewalls, Database administration, Scripting (Python or bash), Enterprise networking (switching, routing, load balancers, DNS), SIEM, Storage, Backup & Recovery, Vulnerability and Patch Management.

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

* Supporting systems including project participation for refresh and expansion activities;
* Influencing others through a small team of direct reports, through work on projects and in teams, or through leading portions of larger projects;

* Handling complex issues that require advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques;

* Planning the expansion and growth of the IT and security environment, maintenance, refresh, and upgrades of systems providing infrastructure and information security services;

* Developing documentation including technical environment, processes and procedures for consistent maintenance and support;
* Developing utilities to automate repetitive tasks to reduce time of support;
