Position Summary
The Bench Grinder/Deburr works without supervision to perform deburr operatiosn on parts of all levels of complexity and materials, demonstrating mastery of all applicable deburr media and tools, as well as a high level of proficiency in print reading and customer specifications. Level 3 operators will also perform rework operations, provide assistance and training to lower level employees, as well as help develop new deburr operations processes on first articles.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
* Basic to Advanced Deburr Tasks
* Advanced Break edges on Aluminum and/or Titanium components
* Perform all deburr tasks (Blend chatter marks & mismatch areas)
* Deburr all Aluminum and/or Titanium components to achieve engineering surface finish requirements
* Perform Rework of most all Aluminum and/or Titanium components to achieve engineering thickness requirements
* Knows which tools are required
* Tools & General Inspection
* Sharpness of tool
* Fit for use
* Micrometers
* Calipers
* Quality
* Able to check the part and properly fill out and ICL
* Correctly identifies warpage of the part
* Other Duties as Assigned
Experience & Education
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* 57 years of experience

* Demonstrated proficiency of Level 1 & 2 competencies
* Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
* Ability to learn
* Ability to read and understand technical drawings after receiving training
