Testing Team Technical Assistant

As an Auto OEM Testing Technical Assistant you will assist the facilitation of projects including application and testing of coatings and materials.

This team is handles testing current and future products to Auto OEM customer specifications. Are you ready for a meaningful role, leading change, driving accountability and promoting a safe, efficient test facility?

In this role, you will:

* Work independently or in concert with team and project leaders to plan, construct, test and document a wide variety of projects
* Support projects through application and/or completion of various routine and non-routine tests that vary in complexity and conduct significant studies with limited direction
* Employ testing methods, accurately interpret results following customer specifications, and build and maintain standard processes critical to success
* Interact with customer technical leads and engineering organization informally and formally for ongoing project work
* Draw on product, customer, and manufacturing knowledge to influence and support project decisions as well as contribute to discussions of project plans and results
* Demonstrate problem solving skills and innovate and improve lab procedures
* Assist in training of other Testing Team members on running tests to OEM specifications and promote teamwork within the team and demonstrates leadership to address issues

Qualifications:

* High School diploma or equivalent required
* 1+ year of experience in coatings
* Strong experience with IT tools
