The Sr. Manager, Patient & Strategic Ops Planning role is critical for Amgens US Oncology Business Unit. The Sr. Manager will report to the Commercial Director, with responsibility spanning sotorasib Marketing.
Responsibilities will include development of Patient launch materials, programs and initiatives for sotorasib. This is inclusive of personal and non-personal tactical programs to help patients understand the value of sotorasib in approved patients. In addition, the Sr. Manager will lead the development/tracking of key performance indicators to measure brand success at the strategic and tactical level. The Sr. Manager will also serve as the lead for operational management of the budget spend for the brand.

Lets do this. Lets change the world. In this vital role you will play an important role in maximizing the value of sotorasib, a novel KRAS G12C molecule developed in Lung cancer, by leading a range of strategic, analytical and promotional executional efforts to prepare and execute the US launch.
* Critical metric development/tracking
* Budget owner/tracking/cross functional allocation
* Patient launch initiatives, programs and tools
* Help guide strategic decisions and ensure flawless execution of promotional campaigns and programs for patients
* Coordinate the work of patient agencies and internal departments including marketing, market research, V&A, legal, regulatory, medical affairs and corporate compliance
* Lead projects through the legal, regulatory, and medical review process.
* Lead program budgets and develop metrics to ensure success of the patient promotional
* programs

Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree and 2 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
Or
Masters degree and 4 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
Or
Bachelors degree and 6 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
Or
Associates Degree and 10 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
Or
High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
Preferred Qualifications:
* Previous management or consulting experience
* Experience in marketing, strategic planning and/or sales
* Experience in Hematology/Oncology market
* Outstanding analytical skills
* Excellent written and verbal communications skills
* Exemplary cross functional/ team leadership and collaboration
* Strong ability to translate complex data/information into simple, meaningful insights
* Successful track record of operating and responding in a daring, nimble, fast-changing market dynamic
* Strong project management skills, as well as demonstrated analytical, problem solving, and negotiation
* Skilled presenter with experience presenting tactical marketing/sales programs to large groups
