This position supports the Kenworth organization as Business Continuity Manager and is responsible for the management, development and implementation of a Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities

* Coordinate business units and production areas with Business Impact Analysis (BIA) to identify critical time-sensitive functions and assigning Recovery Time Objectives (RTOs)
* Recommend recovery strategies and options to assist with the implementation of recovery solutions
* Work with senior management to coordinate business continuity governance activities
* Coordinate and facilitate business continuity exercises / testing
* Develop schedules for awareness / training for organizational and business unit
* Support remote locations with 25% travel

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

* Experience with business continuity standards (ISO 22301, NFPA 1600)
* Strong analytical, organizational, problem solving, and decision-making skills
* Strong verbal and written communications
* Experience in managing a complex business continuity program
* Experience with real-word incident response or business disruption events
* Experience with conducting or coordinating risk assessments on critical business processes or operating locations
* Familiar with National Incident Management System (NIMS) and Incident Command System (ICS)
* Experience with automated technology solutions to assist in the planning and updating of Business Impact Analysis (BIAs) and Business Continuity Plans
* Proficient with Microsoft Office Professional Suite
* Experience in developing, refining and coordinating enterprise-wide policies and procedures
* Strong knowledge of local, state and federal emergency management organizations
* Working knowledge of business continuity operations, concepts, and methodologies

Training and Experience Level

* Bachelors Degree in a related field preferred
* Minimum 5 years experience working in Business Continuity or related field
* Certified Business Continuity Planner (CBCP) preferred
