Central Carolina Hospital

The Cardiovacular Technologist perform Cardiac, Vascular, and Arterial Ultrasound studies. They will also:

1. Use Ultrasound to visualize and record internal Cardiac structures,
2. Obtain measurements of Cardiac Valves and Visualize Blow Flow.
3. Perform Noninvasive Ultrasound tests to assess peripheral arterial, venous, and carotid blood flow and structures related to these studies.
4. Assist physician with complex ultrasound procedures.
5. Collaborate with other healthcare providers for the patients continuum of care.
6. Manage and operates equipment safely and correctly.

Job Requirements

Required Education:

High school diploma or equivalent is required

Associates degree is required

Bachelors degree is preferred

Required License:

RDCS and RVT or equivalent

Required Certification:

BCLS required
