HarperAudio is currently seeking an Audio Coordinator to join the team! HarperAudio has a catalog of audiobooks reaching back to the 1950s. We were breaking new ground then and weve never stopped looking to the future.
A little about you: You love the spoken word and understand audio editing. Youre detail oriented and good at meeting deadlines (even when theres a lot of them). You understand that communication is the key to a successful project.
The job: Youll be working with our talented Production Managers to ensure that our audiobooks meet our standards of production. Youll assist them on projects, as well as conduct the quality control checks for a select number of titles. Youll also have the chance to update and edit titles from our backlist, learn the technical aspects of audio production, and coordinate closely with studios around the world.
Responsibilities
* Schedule and review quality control for select number of titles a year
* Assist production managers on updating our backlist recordings and ensuring that our catalog is digitized.
* Help coordinate paperwork associated with projects.
* Work with the managing editorial team to deliver accurate metadata.
* Upload masters as needed to our digital asset management system and FTP.
* Provide technical and other support on our more complex titles.
* Handle other projects as assigned by manager
Qualifications
* 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience required
* 1+ years of relevant work experience
* Incredible organizations with a strong attention to detail. Youve never met a spreadsheet you didnt like.
* Excellent communication.
* The ability to handle multiple projects at once and the ability to prioritize competing deadlines.
* Must collaborate well with others
* Solid understanding in audio editing. Familiarity with Reaper and ProTools is a plus.
* Conversational or fluent in Spanish, a plus
