We are looking for a Manager to lead our Agronomy Service Center (ASC) in Pocatello, ID. You will be a valued team member responsible for directing all operations activities at your site. Key responsibilities include customer relationship management (roughly 30% of the job), personnel management (25%), supply chain management (20%), compliance & safety (15%), budgeting/capital/expense management (10%), and other duties as assigned.

Hours: 7am to 5pm. Some Saturdays required during peak season March through June

Requirements: Bachelors degree minimum. Ability to demonstrate successful past leadership in operations, warehouse management, and/or managing personnel. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Current drivers license, Restricted Use Pesticide Sales Persons license if required (or ability to attain by a specific date as agreed with company).

Preferred: Bachelors degree in Agriculture, Business, Engineering Sciences, Supply Chain, or related field. 3 years of experience managing people. Practical experience building sales and inventory forecasts, collaborating with internal supply chain partners, and/or managing a substantial budget. Practical experience working with DOT regulations, EH&S programs, and other compliance/safety procedures.

Competencies: Acts with integrity in products, processes, and relationships; delivers results efficiently & effectively; embraces roll as people manager for the warehouse team.

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, you will be walking, standing and engaging in movement throughout the day. The noise level in the work environment can vary.

At times, you may be required to wear personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety gloves, hearing protection, a respirator or dust mask, protective footwear and protective clothing or uniforms. Work may be performed in cold and/or hot temperatures and the environment can be dusty. Physical requirements further include the ability to engage in productive and collaborative communication with co-workers and work may need to be performed during non-standard hours, including nights and weekends. The ability to perform these requirements is necessary to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
