Job Description

Role & Responsibilities:

The role focuses specifically on Middle Office Asset Servicing. Middle Office Asset Servicing is driving an aggressive agenda to enhance client experience and operating processes.

Accurate and timely review of Corporate Actions queries

Adherence to firm and departmental procedures and controls

Ensuring 100% responses are received and sent on Corporate Action elections.

Understanding the control environment and ensuring daily checks are completed

Participate in and facilitate team huddles

Escalate appropriately to senior managers

Assist with team and departmental projects

Qualifications:

Full lifecycle Asset Servicing product & process knowledge

Corporate Actions and Middle Office exposure preferred

Strong analytical and interpersonal skills

Ability to face off to very demanding stakeholders, managing their expectations

Excellent problem solving skills to identify, understand and address operational and technical issues

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to develop relationships across the various stakeholders including senior business executives

Motivated and able to deliver with minimal supervision, whilst working effectively in a team

Skills:

Candidate must have a control focused agenda, and understand all potential impacts internally and to the client

Ability to be flexible, follow and meet tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work and meet the clients expectations

Self-starter with ability to learn quickly

Business and Subject Matter Knowledge:

Knowledge of asset servicing (corporate actions & dividends)

Financial markets product knowledge and understanding of the transaction lifecycle helpful

Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point
