As a Factory Infrastructure Tool Install Engineer, you are joining a in-house design team focused on the installation of Intel's critical First-of-Kind tool needs. Engineers on our team support and lead critical enabling projects involving semiconductor fabrication facilities, process equipment, and related systems. During these projects you will oversee technical design execution, scope creation, data collection, and budget estimation. In addition, you will act as a customer engineering representative for Intel. As a representative, you will interface with a number of internal Intel organizations, equipment suppliers, architectural and engineering firms, and other entities to enable design and construction of Intel equipment and facilities. You also have the opportunity to partner with a specific process area such as Lithography, Etch, Diffusion, etc. acting as a single point of contact for new engineering and design activities in that area.

Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Driving consistency in facility and equipment installation processes across Intel's factories.
- Developing and overseeing execution of engineering processes on a global scale.
- Working with equipment suppliers to drive optimal equipment design and minimize construction and utility usage.
- Document and explain design and scope content to both technical and non-technical team members.
- Interface with a multi-user customer base and manage workload of multiple projects of varying complexity at the same time.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experiences listed may be obtained through prior industry or similar roles or internships.

Minimum Qualifications:
Candidate must possess a Masters with 2 years experience or a Bachelor's degree with 5 years experience; The field of study should be in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Electrical candidates should have focused in Power Analysis Power Systems or Energy Delivery)
-Posses their PE license in the State of Oregon or able to obtain it within 6 months of hire

- 2+ years of experience in each the following:
- Reading construction drawings
- Creating or executing engineering processes
- Applicable engineering experience in facility or equipment design
- Engineering methods and design principles to ensure analyzed content is both feasible and constructible

Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ year MEP related work experience or Tool Install design experience
- 3+ year of experience with 2D CAD or 3D Modeling Software (eg AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks, Revit)
- PMP certified
