Main Objectives and Activities

Manages all strategic and tactical third-party activities related to suppliers, direct/indirect spend, reporting, but not limited to:

* Identifies and drives saving opportunities, consumption reduction through negotiations
* Conducts as needed eAuctions for goods and services, ensuring best value offering to business
* Revisits agreed terms with existing suppliers to improve productivity and working capital
* Implements new deals and identifies new savings opportunities
* Supports implementation of automation opportunities
* Maintains a strong collaboration with all the stakeholders to ensure common target achievement
* Develops and implements the Annual Operating Plan (for legacy product together with the Business and Subcontract Managers
* Deals with invoice discrepancies in collaboration with the business stakeholders, supplier and accounts payable team
* Initiates supplier set up and changes on existing suppliers with relevant approval
* Engages in stakeholder & requisitioner communication aiming to improve understanding of procurement processes and tools
* Maintains a strong collaboration with the subcontract management team to ensure common target achievement
* Ensures all tasks are carried out in line with procurement policy and strategy
* Provides procurement support and leadership for new product introduction programs
* Partners and works closely with the cross functional integrated program team to meet objectives of quality, cost and schedule
* Holds self and other members accountable to complete assignments on time to the integrated master schedule
* Uses procurement, negotiation and project management expertise to best meet business objectives.

YOU MUST HAVE:

* Minimum 5 years of supply chain experience

* 3 years experience in manufacturing environment with electrical/mechanical commodities
* Self-motivated, results oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
* Proficiency with SAP in purchasing environment
* Proficient in MS Office Applications
* Project Management experience
* Aerospace Industry experience
* Ability to handle multiple customers/priorities with minimal supervision under challenging conditions
* Possess excellent verbal and written and communication skills; good presentations skills
