On the Project APEX Portfolio Marketing team, we drive the vision, messaging, content, and integration of Dells product groups into Project APEX. We want someone who could talk tech with Tim Berners-Lee and business with Warren Buffet. In this role youll be driving our Project APEX strategy and messaging for external and internal communications, including analysts and investors. What youll achieve
As a Portfolio Marketing Consultant, you will use your extensive knowledge of the world of IT, services, and cloud, to tell the world most compelling narrative for the industrys most incredible portfolio of services. Youll define the strategy, messaging, and content to be the voice of a revolution. Youll get to write for many different audiences including technical analysts, financial analysts, Dell employees, CIOs, IT decision makers, and IT pros just to name a few. You will get to craft the narrative, messaging strategy, and content to be the author of Dells biggest and most ambitious initiative: Project APEX. Youll get to deliver a message that will turn heads and make people stand up and take notice with the benefit of one of the biggest brands in the world of IT and technology behind you. You will be the point of contact between the APEX marketing team and the public relations and analyst relations teams; empowering them to tell the Project APEX story as only you can.
You will:
oBe the Project APEX team member on point for all communications team engagements including tier 1 launches and programs
oCreate/execute the analyst relations strategy for APEX portfolio and how product marketing management teams plug in
oProvide Project APEX portfolio-level messaging and content for analyst engagements, investor relations (quarterly messages), and internal audiences
oSupport executive speaking engagements and keynotes
oDefine, track, and report out on progress/measurements of Project APEX communications success

Essential Requirements:
o8 to 12 years of related experience in product/portfolio marketing for business-to-business IT/Tech products, with 3+ years experience in as-a-service
oDemonstrated excellence in communicating complex technical topics to both technical and C-level audiences in compelling, innovative, and informative ways
oSomeone who can deal with ambiguity, create clarity, inspire confidence, owns outcomes, works well in a team, and has a bias for action
oPublic experience demonstrating great success being a technical product/service storyteller
Desirable Requirements:
oBS in a technical field (Computer Science, Engineering, Math, etc.) with an MBA
oPrevious experience in, using, or working closely with IT
