This position is within the Technology Risk Management (TRM) organization and reports to the Senior Team Manager, Risk Reporting and Escalation CoE/Audit and Regulatory Support. This role will be responsible for assisting in the day to day operations related to TRM as part of its risk management responsibilities.
What you are good at
* Supporting the TRM Risk Reporting and Escalation CoE/Audit and Regulatory SME in:
* Gathering information and preparing deliverables for adverse events and retrospective reviews, helping to develop and maintain associated procedures, staying connected with ERM and other 2LOD partners on process updates, helping to facilitate integration of TDA risk events into the Schwab Adverse Events/Retrospective Review process
* Pulling together deliverables in support of the quarterly reporting process. This includes schedules for each of the associated risk committee reports, including timelines for submission of quarterly deliverables to required parties (e.g., ORM, ERM, etc.), and meetings with appropriate TRM partners as part of the review and approval process
* Pulling together presentation materials for the Information Security and Technology Risk Subcommittee
* Bachelor's Degree Required

* Can lean in with an aptitude to build/add to their skillset
* Able to work independently with minimal supervision
* Strong critical problem solver who can connect the dots across various sources of information
* Priorities management; someone who can stay on top of active reviews
* Proactively finding relevant data sources for consideration vs. after the fact activity
* Fundamental understanding of risk management and associated processes
* Strong Governance, Risk and Control (GRC) background and can speak the language
* Working knowledge of key industry frameworks such as ITIL, COBIT, NIST, FSSC, etc.
* Familiarity with financial service regulators and associated regulations
* Has a passion to learn and isnt afraid to raise their hand if they have questions
* Attention to detail and has a strong track record of producing quality deliverables
* Ability to manage ambiguity and find a path forward in a fast-paced environment with concurrent tasks and changing priorities
* Strong Microsoft Office skills Word / PowerPoint / Excel
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Point
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams
* Working knowledge of Atlassian Tools Suite (Jira/Confluence)
* Data analytics skills/dashboarding skills are a plus
