Are you looking to join a team of international accounting professionals to help manage the accounting compliance for global subsidiaries? We are looking for a candidate with a solid base of accounting skills, including working with multiple currencies, foreign entities, handling sophisticated projects, supporting statutory audits and collaborating across partners. A great candidate can demonstrate the ability to use accounting knowledge and your experience to add value and assist in meeting the department's objectives while working in a fast-paced, team oriented, constantly evolving and growing organization! This position is located at the Expedia Group headquarters in Seattle, Washington.
What youll do:
* We work in support of global statutory audits, including being a liaison with auditors for all audit related questions
* We prepare all schedules and PBCs to address all statutory audit questions from auditors
* We prepare statutory financial statements for various global subsidiaries
* We prepare balance sheet reconciliations and record journal entries.
* We assist in establishing and detailing new business processes and ensure these processes are communicated across business groups
* We lead projects as needed and prepare ad-hoc analysis

Who you are:
* At least 5 years of experience; public accounting experience is helpful.
* BA or BS in Finance or Accounting required or equivalent related professional experience. CPA preferred, MBA a plus.
* Ability to build strong working relationships and work efficiently across functions to resolve issues.
* Attention to detail with excellent interpersonal and time management skills. Ability to prioritize workload and act as primary owner of individual projects, analyses or processes.
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
* Experience with Oracle or a similar ERP system
* Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, functions) as well as able to work with large amounts of data.
* Commitment to continued improvement as demonstrated by streamlining processes
