The Role
The Lead Project Manager will be responsible for developing plans and managing the implementation of activities for multiple moderately to highly-complex projects/programs in Lumen Mass Markets. The individual is responsible for management of projects that cross departmental lines between Sales and Care, Repair, Field, Product, Digital, and Credit and Collections, among others, and have considerable impact on Mass Markets employees and customers.
The Main Responsibilities
* Develop project plans to document project scope, schedule, budgets, tasks, risk management and produce status reports to communicate to team and executives
* Conduct meetings with stakeholders to determine objectives and execute on deliverables, challenges, scope and timing; work with cross-functional groups from Operations, IT, Finance, etc.
* Responsible for identifying and coordinating resource needs within Mass Markets and multiple lines of business; and prioritizing those needs for IT within the SAFe Agile delivery model
* Track KPIs/key metrics to measure project success based on business case
* Build and maintain business relationships, working with all levels and organizations of Lumen to provide status of key projects
* Identify/Analyze process risks and inefficiencies; actively seeks opportunities to transform the business and eliminate costs through these efforts.
* Gather input from various channel leads and SMEs to create and validate comprehensive requirements, rollout plans and test plans for initiatives
* Ability to quickly understand technical aspects of product/service, both from a functionality perspective but also from an operations/set up perspective and be able to articulate it to a less technical audience.
* Identify business needs and make solution recommendations with strong problem solving and analytical skills, and provide consistent feedback on improvement opportunities related to current business process
* Manage and prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and clients in parallel in time-sensitive environment
What We Look For in a Candidate
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and 5+ years related experience.
* Completion of formal externally recognized project certification requirements (e.g. PMI, PMP) or a minimum of 5 years of significant project management experience
* Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Teams, and Word
* Strong communication skills (oral and written)
* Excellent analytical and presentation development/delivery skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Working knowledge of the Consumer products and procedures
* Working knowledge of Salesforce and automation tools
* Working knowledge of Agile processes and User Story creation and JIRA
