SHIFT/HOURS:

Normal start 2:40 PM. to 10:45 PM., with the flexibility to work/train on other shifts/times as needed. Availability for weekend and overtime work required. Must be able to work overtime. Start and end times may be adjusted based on business needs.

JOB DESCRIPTION

* Changes program on an HMI by selecting the correct program, using a production schedule.
* Performs end of production by removing and cleaning tubes and suction cups, removing and vacuuming pick head and filters, putting dirty tins away, cleaning all equipment, and turning all equipment off.
* Manages production by communicating with the oven operator and supervisor about issues with product size or shape and stops production when needed.
* Performs Operator Asset Care by disassembling 4 vacuums, cleaning all parts, framework, and filters, and replacing filters when needed, checking for loose-fitting pistons and worn rubbers.
* The Capping Robot Operator must support all plant safety, quality, SAP, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives. This support may include but is not limited to: serving in the role of 5S Leader, actively participating in all audits (i.e. Daily Sweep, Weekly Spot, etc.) and all aspects of team concepts, such as displaying a positive attitude, which is necessary to work collaboratively within a team environment. The person in this position must also perform other duties as assigned by his/her supervisor and/or manager.
* WILL BE REQUIRED TO CROSS TRAIN ON OTHER RETAIL PACKAGING EQUIPMENT!
* May need to train on other shifts.
* Work Keys Assessments: Graphic Literacy "5"
* The successful candidate will possess computer skills and a minimum of two years of previous machine operations experience. A high level of mechanical aptitude and a basic understanding of electrical systems and computer-integrated equipment is required.
