About the Role:

Under close supervisory direction, assist in the daily support of products, processes, materials, and equipment in order to achieve production goals (i.e., quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and safety).

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Identify and troubleshoot process, material or equipment problems to minimize down time

Revise existing documents, processes, and/or methods to correct or improve processes/product

Execute validation plans and compile data

Assist in Value Improvement (VIP) and Employee Involvement Team (EIT) projects, implementing new equipment or processes or improving existing ones for cost savings

Collect data and perform basic statistical analysis for process characterization and scrap reduction goals.

Work with departmental customers to improve material quality and delivery

Train and provide technical support to product builders

What Were Looking for In You:

Minimum Qualifications

AA Degree or 1-3 years of equivalent work experience in related discipline

Computer skills in MS Word, Excel and Outlook

Hands-on mechanical skills

Communicates well in both written and verbal forms

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

Electro mechanical trouble shooting experience preferred

Medical device industry experience preferred

Control system experience such as PLC

Experience with mechanical print reading

Basic understanding of Lean principles

Hands-on experience with measurement systems, such as: calipers, micrometers, tool scopes, etc
