Principal Business Analyst, Interventional Cardiology
The Principal Business Analyst will drive analytics, strategies, planning for the WATCHMAN sales team in the Interventional Cardiology Division of Boston Scientific. WATCHMAN is currently the most studied and implanted left atrial appendage closure (LAAC) device in the world. The LAAC market is growing rapidly and as an integral member of the LAAC Sales Strategy Operations team, this position interacts with various sales and marketing leaders and is responsible for building, reporting and influencing commercial sales growth models to enable the organization to grow at scale for future years. This role requires a high level of business acumen, customer solution focus, multi-tasking skills, comprehensive organizational skills and analytical ability.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Create, execute and lead sales solutions that drive profitable growth
* Develop actionable analytics and propose recommendations and strategies to solve commercial opportunities in unique ways that return optimal value to our business
* Identify changing customer needs, develop innovative competitive models and uncover long-term macro trends (pricing, policy, industry, etc.) extracting actionable insights
* Engage in long range planning and multi-year sales transformation strategies to drive efficiencies within both sales operations and the sales organization
* Identify process improvement opportunities and develop solutions while applying appropriate methodology, measurements, tools, and quantitative techniques in projects
* Serve as strategic thought partner with Sales Leadership on growth opportunities, motivational models, territory recommendations and investment strategies, helping define and deliver on the sales strategy across the business
* Develop and deliver presentations to senior and executive leadership
* Build strong collaborative relationships across the division (including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Pricing & Contracting, Sales Training, and other internal groups, etc.). Ensure alignment with proposed strategies and plans and facilitate collaboration towards achieving common goals and outcomes
What were looking for in you:
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelors degree
* 7+ years of related work experience in Sales Strategy or Operations, Finance, or Consulting
* Excellent problem-solving skills, using an analytical and consultative partner-focused approach
* Business and data modeling and thorough statistical analysis experience is required
* Strong executive presence and excellent communication and analytical skills with the ability to distill complex thoughts and strategies into simple, actionable recommendations
* Detail oriented but can manage and prioritize multiple projects while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines
* Strong familiarity with Tableau and Salesforce.com reporting as well as qualitative and quantitative market research
* Expertise with Excel and PowerPoint
* High-energy, team-first attitude: Motivated to work hard in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment to help our growing business
