About the role:
At Boston Scientific, our products and technologies are used to diagnose or treat a wide range of medical conditions. We continue to innovate in key areas and are extending our innovations into new geographies and high-growth adjacency markets. We are looking to add a Virtual Sales Representative (Inside Sales) to support Boston Scientifics Pelvic Floor business. The Virtual Sales Representative will be responsible for selling Pelvic Floor products. The Virtual Sales Representative will reach prospects through excellent telephone and written communication skills. This individual will be responsible for achieving quarterly and annual sales goals by the generation of renewal calls to customers; providing advanced clinical and sales support to colleagues and managing the relationship with the sales team, and existing potential customers.
Your responsibilities will include:
* On a regular basis, review upcoming sales and follow-up on the prior months sales.
* Call or e-mail prospect whose contracts and rebates are expiring to initiate the sales renewal process.
* Create new pricing proposals and quotes and other renewal tasks.
* Review the customers contract and consignment terms with the Legal Team seeking approval when necessary.
* Work independently or with sales to identify decision makers within the prospect account to begin sales process. Collaborate with Regional Managers, Territory Managers and National Accounts Managers to strategize sales approaches.
* Ensure executed agreements are received and processed according to company policy.
* Provide weekly updates to management on progress, at risk accounts, etc. and communicate Sales Forecast and progress to Management.
* Perform sales tasks such as booking orders and maintaining accurate records of sales opportunities and contract records. Maintain and expand the companys database of prospects by entering new customer data and updating changes to existing accounts in the corporate database (Salesforce.com).
* Provide advanced (or SME) clinical and sales support to the team
* Support management in the development of new team members
What were looking for in you:
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelors degree in Business plus 3+ years experience in sales or inside sales; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
* Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close deals while maintaining established sales quotas.
* Experience in opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, and time management.
* Strong objection handling skills.
* Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with both internal and external customers.
* High level of integrity and work ethic.
* Exceptional verbal communication, presentation and listening skills.
* Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with customer relationship management software.
* Medical device experience
