WHAT YOU'LL DO

* This role focuses on maintaining relationships with our clients, case teams, and finance teams to follow-up on, collect on and escalate, if necessary, outstanding client invoices. This position is for a highly-motivated, analytical, self-starting individual with working knowledge of accounts receivable, financial and business reporting. The focus of this role will be primarily in the areas of accounts receivable and invoicing management. This role will also participate in special projects and initiatives to optimize the performance of current capabilities, with a particular focus on improving BCGs North American days sales outstanding and cash cycle. The position is an integral part of the finance team and functions as a shared service under the guidance of a Shared Services Finance Team Lead.

YOU'RE GOOD AT

Contracting and Accounts Receivable Management

* Perform routine procedures and transactions for assigned portfolio as part of the overall contracting to collections process

* Proactively monitor days sales outstanding for assigned portfolio and follow up as necessary on collecting on outstanding invoices or purchase orders required for invoicing

* Partner and maintain relationships with client Accounts Payable teams, case teams, and local finance teams to address invoicing and collections challenges as they arise

* Assist senior staff with projects regarding operational process and productivity improvements to enhance controls and increase procedural effectiveness

* Assist finance teams with identifying and managing outstanding receivable balances and unearned revenue balances (WIP)

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

* B.A./B.S. degree in accounting or finance with 0-1 years of business experience preferred, or equivalent experience
* Competency with computing tools like Word, Excel, PowerPoint and system applications (e.g. Oracle)

* Analytical mindset with strong business/accounts receivable/accounting/financial management background
* Ability to work varied hours to complete projects and tasks according to deadlines
* Ability to work effectively in a challenging, fast-paced, and growth environment
* Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong customer service oriented focus
* Attention to detail, well-organized
* Ability to handle multiple tasks and set priorities to meet deadlines
* Utilizes sound judgment in dealing with work flow and uncertain situations
* Handles situations with confidence, understanding and tact
* Ability to respect all BCG information as personal and confidential
