Defense Acquisition Program Management Specialist, Senior

Key Role:

Serve as an expert providing acquisition and program management oversight to develop operational prototype and production level unmanned maritime vehicles to fill existing mission requirements and function as force multipliers across several mission sets. Support technical analysis tasks on behalf of the Navy or DoD program offices to primarily support unmanned maritime vehicle development and associated shipyard production. Work with automation, development, and production of Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) systems, mission or capability planning, or reliability or maintainability of systems.

Basic Qualifications:

-8+ years of experience in a US Navy, DoD Industry, DoD contractor, or government civilian role leveraging complex analytic techniques to address programmatic, operational, or strategic issues

-8+ years of experience with new construction shipbuilding and overhauls, contract management, and production management

-Experience with leadership of diverse technical teams or working groups

-Experience in a leadership role in a Navy shipyard managing project cost, schedule, and performance

-Knowledge of Naval ship engineering, design, development, and fabrication

-Ability to articulate complex issues to Navy or DoD decision makers

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications

-Knowledge of US Navy Submarines Surface and the Undersea Domain

-Knowledge of US Navy Submarine technical design, ocean interfaces, and maintenance and basing requirements

-Secret clearance
