Job Overview
Booking Holdings is looking for a leader to partner with the Brands in designing and executing the Global Talent Sourcing Strategy. The strategy would involve identifying and setting up a set of delivery centers located in favorable cost structures across the world. In addition, we would like to build technical expertise within these centers, referred to as Centers of Expertise to serve Booking.com and other Brands. This leader will also be responsible for partnering with Global Procurement and the Brands to identify a set of Partners to augment and accelerate the global delivery model.
This a critical leadership role for Booking Holdings and the leader requires expertise in setting up technology/BPO Delivery centers for a Fortune 500 company. The leader must enable decision making support to evaluate projects, identify opportunities for reducing redundancy, propose staffing and operating models, set up a deeply local playbook to access talent, and drive scale and efficiency when appropriate with the other Brands.
The role for 2021 H1 is to identify the key projects across brands, run pilots, drive the 2022 planning process (in Q3 2021) allowing to make big and strategic bets on this new delivery model. The VP, Global Delivery will also partner with leaders within Booking Holdings and our Brand leadership teams.
Responsibilities and Duties
Business Partnership and operating model development
* Consult with leaders in Tax, HR, IT and Real Estate to construct and launch Delivery Center operating model
* Consult with senior executives and business leaders in articulating the delivery groups value proposition, capabilities and working business models to identify steady, aggressive demand rate for specific work processes to be shifted offshore
* Partner with brand leaders to drive work definition and adherence, quality standards and best practices for all work processes shifted to the Delivery Center
Execution and Performance Management
* Program Management leadership monitoring progress of work migrations and status of operations to provide an integrated view to senior leaders
* Partner with leaders in our Global Delivery Centers to ensure business needs are met and SLAs are adhered to
* Evaluates operating results of various Delivery Centers in terms of labor and facilities cost
* Drive process improvements and performs trend analysis for Delivery Centers
* Responsible for development of expansion business plans for Delivery Centers
Leadership
* Ability to manage and inspire a cross-functional global team
* Foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives.
* Demonstrate proficiency effectively presenting complex topics in an easy-to-understand manner and facilitating meetings with with Directors, Vice Presidents, and Business owners
* Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
* The position requires strong collaborative, communication and change management skills
* Global awareness and sensitive to multiple cultures
Qualifications
* Bachelors Degree in Finance, Technology, Business Administration or commensurate experience or educational background. Masters Preferred.
* Substantial knowledge (12+) to drive transformation, innovation and cost savings for Fortune 500 companies. Ability to set up culture, governance and operating models in owned and 3rd party locations.
* Expertise in technology, managed complex IT or Product portfolios. BPR/Global Business Service setup and operations. Setting up Centers to deliver on a specific technical expertise.
* 25%-50% of travel during normal circumstances
