Job Description Summary

This exciting new role will primarily, but not exclusively, supports the Mass Small Business Segment strategic planning and program implementation. Conducts decision-making research for the Mass Small Business Segment Head. Implements strategy and helps identify Mass Small Business Segment/division issues early and recommends solutions. Responsible for supporting an array of activities that advance the strategic vision of the Mass Small Business Segment. Partners closely with leadership in driving strategic initiatives.

Essential Job Functions

* Primary liaison to internal product partners that sell into the Mass Small Business segment including: credit, cards, cash management, merchant and deposit products.
* Will liaise with digital banking efforts and coordinate their efforts into the Mass Small Business Segment.
* Will perform research in to peer comparison and market comparisons via external benchmarking information and internal vendor research including Barlow Research and BAI
* Supports Mass Small Business operational efforts such as new business development, cross sales, project management, audits. Supports product development with industry trends, process forecasting and cost evaluation related to new product roll outs and product updates. Enhances communication throughout the division.
* Provides business analytics; reviews/analyzes metrics; identifies future business trends and supports the Division with overall Strategy. Maintain a consistent distribution of reporting and notification to Senior Management and when needed BNPP, other parts of the Group and the Bank.
* Liaises effectively with business units for achievement of related integrated goals as defined by management.
* Identifies and refines business goals, and develops and implements jointly with Corporate Marketing projects and programs to achieve those goals.
* Partners with executives in product and field management positions to incorporate business unit insights and objectives into program design, and to ensure organizational alignment around and support for program strategies and tactics.
* Defines and executes creative strategies that reflect and reinforce the strategic direction of the Division while fulfilling tactical program objectives.
* Makes decisions based upon financial and analytical insights. Develops pro-forma program budgets, and manages projects to budget and timelines. Reviews back-end results to assess project economics and define next steps.
* Researches programs, capabilities and processes of best-in-class competitors, vendors and industry experts to identify best practices that will improve Division efficiency and effectiveness. Defines and deliver projects to introduce and institute those best practices

Other Job Duties

* Directs development of work plans, schedules, resource plans, and status reports. Provides overall leadership to project teams comprised of staff from various departments within the Bank and Vendors affected by a project. May conduct vendor negotiations and develop contract proposals.
* Assists Division Managers with central issues, policies and procedures, white papers, portfolio reports, etc. When required, works jointly with other Division Managers on selected specific projects.
* Participates in special projects and ad-hoc analysis for Mass Small Business Segment as directed by the Segment Head, as needed by any other group/department of the Bank
* Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Experience

* Strong partnering skills with internal and external constituents
* Ability to gather data from disparate sources, compile information and perform analysis, then synthesize into go to market strategies.
* Requires highest knowledge and mastery of multiple job areas typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
* Viewed as the leading expert and/or resource within the field by peers within and outside the organization.
* Requires 8 years minimum prior relevant experience.
* Small Business segment and product experience preferred
* Ability to think and work in a start-up like environment

Education

* BS degree or Masters in a STEM or Business Analytics major. Or other majors with proven work experience.

Work Experience

* P5 - 8 yrs Requires mastery level knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have deep knowledge of project management.

Skills

* Excellent knowledge and ability to synthesize data into meaningful presentations.
* Excellent working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
* Data access, manipulation and analysis tools like SAS, Tableau, SQL, MSACCESS
* Good knowledge of Bank's departments & functions.
* Excellent written and verbal communication.
* Ability to perform with complete autonomy.
* Good organizational skills, sales and marketing knowledge.
