Our team is looking for a Commercial Lines Underwriter who will handle new business, renewal, rating and adjustment inquiries generated from your clients, referring as required internally or to Insurers. The goal of this role is to support branch growth and develop your career as an Underwriter/Producer. This role can be seated remotely anywhere in North Carolina.

How you will contribute to the business:

* Underwriting and Underwriting Services which includes underwriting submissions in accordance with delegated underwriting authority and established guidelines
* Processing customer requests for quotes, re-quotes, endorsements, renewals, planning agency travel, working with Business Development Manager to develop territory
* Agency visits (once safe to travel) to build and maintain quality relationships with customers and prospect opportunities
* Collaborate with internal teammates to strategically build your brand in your community
* Develop expertise in your market by attending corporate and carrier trainings and seminars

Required:

* Bachelor's degree and 2 or more years related work experience
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications

Desired:

* Ability to obtain P&C Licensing within 3 months of employment

U.S. Eligibility Requirements:
