We are looking for an Employee Benefits Communication Consultant with professional business communications work experience and proven client project management capabilities in the benefits space. You will focus on client communication activities including helping determine the strategy for communications, and the tactics of employer benefit branding, plan design and implementation, technical and/or promotional writing (employee communication collateral such as; open enrollment materials, brochures, posters, landing page messaging, social media messaging, videos, etc.), and vendor management supporting the selection and ongoing services based on client needs.

You'll have the opportunity to:

* Participate with our Lead Benefit Consultants to understand client communication strategy needs, suggest tactics and solutions to improve benefit understanding and literacy, improve employee engagement and satisfaction with employee benefit programs and administration
* Plan and execute employee-focused programs and campaigns for specific clients, across the region
* Interact closely with client organizations and internal consulting team. Includes responsibilities for developing short- and long-term communication objectives and tactics in alignment with organizational goals and executing upon the required deliverables.
* Be responsible for managing multiple client projects, across multiple branch locations
* Refer larger work projects with considerable job scope to our Specialized Communication Practice.

Do I have what it takes to be considered?

* Benefits, Insurance Carrier and/or HR industry experience
* Communications experience, including copywriting and/or other communications development experience
* Graphic and brand management expertise (experience using Publisher)
* Experience with mass email communication technology, social media for business communication, and video production
* Strong inter-personal communication, writing, editing and time management skills; the ability to independently prioritize and manage workflow
* Ability and desire to think strategically and make plan recommendations while also executing upon the deliverables; this is a roll-up your sleeves role and requires a candidate that can complete all aspects of the employee communications plan

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree;
* 5 years' minimum related experience.
* Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.
