* We are currently seeking a Stock Inventory Assistant in Pomona warehouse facility.
* Schedule: Monday through Friday, from 8:00AM to 4:30 PM
* Pay: $15 - $16/hour, excellent benefits, PTO, 401 K.
Job Summary:
Performs basic receiving and shipping duties typically working out of a central warehouse using American Red Cross practices and procedures. May assist with systemwide electronic computer inventory management system data entry and reporting functions. Delivers supplies to internal departments, unload trailers when needed, help receiving supplies when needed, ensure warehouse. Mark and label supplies when Counting and pulling right supplies, following all safety rules
Responsibilities:
* Verify materials and supplies against receiving documents.
* Pull and pack daily Pick Ticket orders.
* Note and report discrepancies and obvious damages of supplies and materials received.
* Route materials to the appropriate department or storage location.
* Store and stack materials according to prescribed methods.
* Take inventory of stored materials.
* May order and replace supplies.
* May be required to drive to other sites to pick-up/deliver materials and supplies.
* May be required to operate a fork lift.

Qualifications:
Education: High School or equivalent required.
Experience: Up to one-year related experience. Warehouse related experience or training required, preferably with an automated system. Fork lift experience a plus!
Skills/Abilities: Customer Service Skills and Team work skills are a must. Basic reading, writing, communications and math skills required. Good computer skills, attention to detail and punctuality is a must is preferred. May be required to be certified in fork lift operation. Valid driver's license and clean DMV record may be required. Ability to work on a team.
Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs frequently; lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 50 lbs. with assistance or the use of a powered industrial truck. Frequently required to push carts weighing up to 250 pounds on flat flooring or ramps. Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Occasionally required to sit and climb ladders or balance. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus

Fundamental Principles of the Global Red Cross Network
Humanity
The Red Cross, born of a desire to bring assistance without discrimination to the wounded on the battlefield, endeavors—in its international and national capacity—to prevent and alleviate human suffering wherever it may be found. Its purpose is to protect life and health and to ensure respect for the human being. It promotes mutual understanding, friendship, cooperation and lasting peace amongst all peoples.
Impartiality
It makes no discrimination as to nationality, race, religious beliefs, class or political opinions. It endeavors to relieve the suffering of individuals, being guided solely by their needs, and to give priority to the most urgent cases of distress.
Neutrality
In order to continue to enjoy the confidence of all, the Red Cross may not take sides in hostilities or engage at any time in controversies of a political, racial, religious or ideological nature.
Independence
The Red Cross is independent. The national societies, while auxiliaries in the humanitarian services of their governments and subject to the laws of their respective countries, must always maintain their autonomy so that they may be able at all times to act in accordance with Red Cross principles.
Voluntary Service
The Red Cross is a voluntary relief movement not prompted in any manner by desire for gain.
Unity
There can be only one Red Cross society in any one country. It must be open to all. It must carry on its humanitarian work throughout its territory.
Universality
The Red Cross is a worldwide institution in which all societies have equal status and share equal responsibilities and duties in helping each other.
