As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will work with consumer application testing expertise. You will join the team of hands-on, pro-active, self-motivated and seasoned SQA professionals. In this role, you will:
* Create test plans and test cases
* Review user interfaces for conformity and functionality
* Efficiently execute test cases across all functional areas of our products
* Review product user interface for conformity to design guidelines
* Isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through resolution
* Interpret and report testing results, and be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process
* Work with Software Development Engineers to understand the overall technical architecture
* Triage issues, react well to changes, and work with teams
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in manual testing
4+ year of experience working as a Quality Assurance Engineer
Experience in automation testing
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar technical field
2+ years of experience in Java development for Automation
2+ years of experience testing products, measuring test coverage, developing automation, driving testability and diagnostic ability into the product
2+ years of Software QA experience testing Android mobile devices
Experience with black box and grey box testing methodologies
Experience with standard QA and development tools
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Highly methodical test discipline, applicable to all UI products
Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to multi-task on multiple products and projects
Customer scenario testing experience
Demonstrated expertise in testing methodologies, experience with standard QA and development tools, and the ability to operate within short release cycles
Shows creativity and initiative to improve product test coverage
Experience with Android, iOS or other mobile application development or testing
Experience working in a UNIX/Linux environment
Knowledge of industry standard test automation tools and experience developing product test harnesses, automation infrastructure
Experience with open source tools and resources
