The Amazon Lending is a part of the Global Business Payments organization which provides working capital solutions to Sellers and other small business customers so that they can invest to grow their businesses.
The Amazon Lending team is seeking an innovative, customer-centric, and results-driven leader to join our Amazon Lending business team in Seattle as a Sr. Product Manager - Technical. This candidate will be responsible for development of new initiatives to solve small and medium-sized businesses' challenges getting the capital they need to grow their businesses. This role requires working cross-functionally across multiple stakeholder teams to build new disruptive products, features, and technology to meet customer needs with the right customer experience.
In this role, some of your responsibilities will include:
Define the product vision, build a roadmap, and manage/execute towards that vision
Conduct customer research, understand customer needs, and build solutions/features to address unmet customer needs or customer pain points
Define product requirements, ensure they are properly prioritized, and work with the engineering teams to execute against the roadmap
Hire and develop the best this role may have a small number of direct reports
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Bachelor's Degree
5+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology
Experience with end to end product delivery
Demonstrated ability to identify and solve ambiguous problems. In particular, identifying customer needs and inventing new ways to meet those needs
Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically, with a high degree of organization and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities
A motivated self-starter who can work independently in a fast paced, ambiguous environment with limited supervision
A fast learner, who can quickly absorb the nuances of Amazon Business Payments offerings as well as the behavior of Amazon Business's internal systems
Ability to effectively work with a variety of stakeholders and leadership, both internal and external
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to various levels of audience
Excellent analytical skills
Attention to detail and desire to roll up your sleeves
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
People management experience is a strong plus
MBA or equivalent degree is a plus
