This position will reside on Intermountain's People Operations Team, reporting to the Sr. Director, HR. This team drives the people and culture dimension of our business strategy. Position Profile:

This position is in Boise, Idaho. As a Sr. Human Resources Business Partner, you will be a key strategic partner in this organization. This role will support Intermountain's Corporate office, District leaders and teams in various geographies. You will provide thought leadership to our business leaders and others on the HR team to effectively lead the 'people component' of Intermountain's business strategy, particularly focusing on the attraction, development, and retention of our associates. The Intermountain Division is seeking an exceptional Human Resources Business Partner who will positively impact the business, solve people opportunities, drive operational effectiveness, and will add to our inclusive environment. As a Sr. HR Business Partner, you are responsible for driving and leading the people strategy and initiatives across the organization. You will be a trusted advisor to business leaders on the development of long-term goals of the organization, structure, talent, and culture. You will support backstage associates and frontline associates and build relationships at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

* Consulting with the business in the design and delivery of HR solutions on a broad spectrum of HR matters, including associate relations, compensation, and recruiting in partnership with specialist areas of HR
* Providing strategic thought leadership, education, and tools to managers and associates on the application of company policies, procedures, and effectively managing through change and transformation
* Coaching and supporting business leaders in developing high performing teams, building talent bench, and driving associate engagement
* Facilitating the performance review process to ensure effectiveness and alignment with individual performance
* Utilizing data and analytics to provide meaningful insights to business leaders to support them in the people dimension of their strategy
* Conducting HR trend analysis and reporting activities to identify opportunities and recommend solutions
* Enhancing organizational learning and development by facilitating group discussions on various topics, such as leadership development, change management, business transformation and restructuring, and performance management, using demonstrated thought leadership and relevant experience
* You will drive the people strategy and initiatives at across the division while maintaining strategic alignment between the business and HR

Requirements:

* 10+ years of progressive HR Generalist, HR Consulting experience or other related experience; including talent acquisition, leadership development and training, employee relations, compensation, diversity & inclusion, and organizational development
* Demonstrated knowledge of and expertise in Human Resources processes and policies, external best practices, and legal compliance
* Demonstrated ability to identify and effectively navigate through complex performance management and other employee relations issues
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to effectively deliver important messages across a diverse group of associates and senior business leaders
* Strength in managing multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously
* Strong presentation and facilitation skills including experience delivering human resources training programs
* Bachelor's degree required; MBA or Masters in Industrial Relations or Human Resources Management is preferred
* Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
* Possess working knowledge of American with Disabilities Act, Employee Rights & Privacy, FMLA and Workers' Compensation

In 1939, Joe Albertson, a former Safeway district manager, took $5,000 he saved and $7,500 he borrowed from his wife’s Aunt Bertie, and partnered with L.S. Skaggs to open his first Albertsons store on 16th and State Streets in Boise, Idaho. Joe knew the keys of running a really great store, and it was all about working hard for the customers: give them the products they want, at a fair price, with lots of tender, loving care. Joe was innovative, too. He had one of the first in-store magazine racks in the country along with a scratch bakery and fresh ice cream made in-store. He worked hard, seven days a week, on his vision to build his company, and through his inspiring work ethic and tireless
