Team Manager, Customer Service Plate, Sales and Marketing

The team manager directs the activities of other exempt employees to ensure that customer service functions are performed and completed within established timing, quality, and to world class customer service standards.

Responsibilities

* Directs and supports all customer service requirements for their team of customer service representatives.
* Manages all aspects of a customer service team, including handling performance evaluations and coaching. Participates in the hiring, training and development of new employees
* Accountable for Customer Service support to meet Plate Commercial business plan goals. Oversees daily management in accordance with established business practices and procedures for customer inquiries, booking & customer order entry requirements, as well as all subsequent customer service and order fulfillment tasks
* Supervises, directs, and audits Customer Representative team members performance of daily management activities and compliance to established business practices and policies related to all order fulfillment and customer service processes.
* Provides leadership to direct and resolve customer concerns/issues and supports Customer Service requirements. Participate in customer calls and projects as required.
* Working knowledge of PPI, GMS, COS, Beth Legacy, and InqProp systems
* Knowledge of Cleveland Cliffs Plate production facilities and Products required
* Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

* High School Diploma
* 3 years experience in Sales, Commercial, or within Cleveland Cliffs (or predecessor) organization
* Working knowledge of plate products, manufacturing processes, production scheduling/supply chain mgt., logistics, and proficiency in numerous systems and applications (ie: Microsoft excel, GMS, COS / Beth Legacy, etc) which are integral and necessary for the completion of duties
* Excellent problem solving, planning and decision making skills
* Strong team player works well with team internally and externally across units/divisions/departments (and with people from various levels of a diverse organization)
* Strong organizational skills
* Effectively communicates with team internally and externally

Preferred Requirements

* Bachelors Degree
* Change Management experience
