As part of our Marketing & Communications team, youll play a key role in helping Accenture Federal Services execute its strategy. Youll work with our team of innovative marketing experts who focus on the following areas: integrated marketing, research and content development, content marketing, digital and social marketing, industry and client-centric marketing, events and sponsorships, people communications, media and industry analyst relations, corporate citizenship, and recruitment marketing.
You are:
An experienced, passionate internal communications professional who can think strategically, engage audiences with clear, compelling writing, and serve as a trusted advisor whos ready to assist with taking our internal communications program to the next level.
The work:
* Assists People Communications Lead with all internal communications efforts, including advising key stakeholders, and developing and executing high-quality communications strategies and deliverables from conception to completion
* Creates content for project-specific internal communications, including weekly newsletter, business and leadership announcements, town halls/presentations, talking points/key messages, videos, and articles to engage a broad audience of internal stakeholders
* Manages all internal employee distribution lists, content for internal portal, other repositories, digital signage, and other communications channels
* Creates stakeholder-specific campaigns, messaging that drive awareness, understanding, engagement, and actionable steps that meet business objectives
* Serves as liaison across departments to ensure high-quality content standards and consistency in communications that reach internal audiences; identify opportunities for strategic alignment, clarity, accuracy
* Serves as leader to determine understanding of employee views, concerns, and level of engagement
* Proactively identifies new opportunities, executes plans to continually improve internal communications initiatives, and explores opportunities to innovate
* Measures and reports the effectiveness of communications channels, messaging, tactics/collateral, and other activities, including employee readership, understanding, and engagement; determines and adopts ways for continuous improvement
* Collaborates with internal teams to build stronger connections across the company
* Leverages the full array of communications vehicles (electronic, print, video, face-to-face, etc.); evaluates tools and technologies to improve delivery efficiency, convenience, accuracy, and engagement
Qualifications
Here's what you need:
* Bachelor's degree
* 4 years of progressive experience serving in an internal communications role within a large organization
* Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communications skills; AP Style, grammar, and punctuation proficiency; ability to develop clear, concise, and compelling content on complex topics for diverse, internal audiences
* Demonstrable experience in strategy-driven internal communications campaigns that create impact and influence within a business unit and/or across an organization
* Working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint software
Bonus points if you have:
* Familiarity with Polite Mail, Mailer, and Brand Maker software
* Decision-making and critical thinking skills
* Ability to interact and influence across levels of an organization
* Ability to establish and meet deadlines, work accurately under pressure, and manage multiple projects and priorities
* Proven track record of teamwork, innovation, and results in employee communications
Important Information
An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
