Who we are:

Our Data & AI team is renowned for insights and solutions they have provided to companies working to migrate various operations to the cloud and to manage them successfully. The Teradata Engineer leads and/or participates in the design, development, and implementation of complex Teradata system engineering activities involving cross-functional technical support, systems programming, and data center capabilities.

The work:

* Develop data ingestion, data processing, and analytical pipelines for data ecosystems.
* Leverage Teradata or Vantage native utilities to build scalable data/analytical pipelines.
* Use DevOps tools and orchestration tools to automate pipeline execution.
* Support current state analysis and work with enterprise architects to build target state architecture. Conduct POCs to validate hypothesis.

Qualifications

What you need:

* Minimum 5 years of experience on Teradata.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and building data warehouses/lake/marts using Teradata native utilities as BTEQ, TPT etc.
* Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience, or an Associate degree with a minimum of 6 years of equivalent work experience.
* Racking up those air miles will have to wait, as weekly non-essential travel to client sites Monday through Thursday is currently suspended. For now, all Accenture business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only.

Bonus points if you have:

* Experience migrating data from Teradata to cloud (As/GCP/Azure) or Vantage
* Experience with other ETL tools as Informatica, DataStage, AbInitio, Matellion etc.
* Experience with Teradata Vantage
* Multi-cloud experience.
