Position Title:
Application Development Associate Manager
Responsibilities:
Application Development Associate Manager (Accenture LLP; Los Angeles, CA): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Application Development Associate Manager in Los Angeles, CA, and the job duties are as follows:
- Develop or update project plans for information technology projects, including project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing.
- Develop system specifications and interfaces for moderately complex components.
- Provide primary support for installation of application releases into production.
- Maintain applications according to SLAs.
- Develop and manage work breakdown structure (WBS) of information technology projects.
- Work across the Service Delivery Lifecycle on engineering solutions for new system rollouts, major/minor enhancements, and/or ongoing maintenance of existing applications.
- Understand strategic direction, and implement methods and procedures set by management.
- Work with team members to gather and interpret user/system requirements into design specifications.
- Provide performance feedback for project team members.
Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the IT consulting industry.
Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:
- Participating in GUI design for new screens and creating final GUI layout;
- Participating in architecture reviews to finalize approach & design;
- Preparing data modelling along with the Data Architecture Request (DAR) and reviewing the modeling with DBA teams using Erwin tool;
- All stages of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) delivering Custom Applications using Mainframe and Guidewire;
- Developing functional and technical design for Personal Lines Rating applications; and
- Ensuring data is accurately transformed from Personal Lines Rating applications to Personal Lines Policy Admin applications using IBM tools and Informatica.
Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
