Job Description

A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:

Identifies, assesses and solves complex business problems for area of responsibility, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Closely follows the strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near term goals.

Interacts with senior management at a client and/or within Accenture on matters where they may need to gain acceptance on an alternate approach.

Has some latitude in decision-making. Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments.

Decisions have a major day to day impact on area of responsibility.

For now, all Accenture business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only.

Qualifications

* Basic Qualifications / Direct Tax Manager

* * Minimum of 5 years of experience in any of the following: Financial Accounting and Reporting including Consolidation, Tax Accounting and Reporting including Consolidation
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in Direct Tax Technology solution implementation (Oracle, Thomson Reuters OneSource, CorpTax, Longview, Anaplan, Tagetik, OneStream)
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in Direct Tax Sensitization of ERP in any of the following; (SAP, S4, Oracle) and Enterprise Data (Chart of Accountants, Parallel Ledger, Asset Accounting, Purchasing and Sales, Time Sheet and Payroll, Investments, Treasury, etc.)
* Bachelor Degree

* Preferred Qualifications

* * University degree with Finance / Statistics / Economics / Accounting with a Chartered Accountant Certified Public Accountant qualification
* Good understanding of the Direct Tax Technology landscape, trends and architecture
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in Financial Close processes in a multinational corporate environment
* 5+ years of experience in Direct Tax Requirements Management and/or Project Management for the implementation of Direct Tax solutions
