Facility Technician
Job Duties and Expectations.
Operates, maintains and repairs assigned general building maintenance, mechanical, plumbing, hardware and building systems in such a manner as to insure optimal customer service and relations.
Completes assigned PM's and RM repairs requiring, but not limited to the following duties and directives with minimal supervision:
* Works in a safe manner to insure an accident-free environment for self and others.
* Takes a proactive approach in maintaining facilities.
* Performs general building maintenance items needing attention.
* Performs Audio, Visual set-ups and meeting set-ups as required.
* Reports all facility discrepancies needing attention unable to repair to management.
* Takes ownership of assigned buildings to insure a quality environment for our client, their guests and visitors.
* Provides assistance and training to other ABM employees as needed.
* Thoroughly and accurately completes paperwork.
* Assists in emergencies, as needed.
* Work independently and as a cohesive team.
* Knowledge of the equipment, tools, and materials used in general building maintenance and how to use them.
* Painting and Drywall repairs.
* Ability to keep straight forward detailed records of activities performed.
* Ability to read and understand blueprints and drawings.
* Live within 25 mile radius of PayPal in Santa Clara.
