Position Summary
Responsible for the data analytics and financial management of the Company's benefit plans as assigned, Assist with development of plans' financial budget rates, vendor financial renewal processes, financial compliance requirements and the analysis of all plan reporting. Manage invoicing/billing for all benefit plans. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.
Essential Job Functions
* Maintain the reporting and analysis of the company-sponsored benefit plans as assigned, including enrollment, cost and utilization data and cost driver
* Develop and provide plan management reports and ad hoc reports for assigned benefits
* Provide cost analysis and negotiation support for the annual renewals for the self-insured and fully-insured health and welfare benefit plans (for Health benefits)
* Provide data and cost analysis support for 401k plans, partnering with plan consultants and plan administrators (for Retirement benefits)
* Review, monitor and report of all performance guarantee arrangements and results
* Partner with internal stakeholders such as Accounting, Finance, Pension Investment team, and division financial managers to manage the financial aspects of the assigned benefit plans
* Manage the annual development of associate contribution strategy and accrual rates, ensuring benefit administration systems are updated accurately, including distribution and explanation of annual accrual rates with division HR and Finance teams (for Health benefits)
* Oversee the monthly self-bill and reconciliation process for our vendor administrative fees for assigned benefit plans
* Oversee the reconciliation process and Health Savings Account (HSA) funding from Accounting to HSA vendor for all HSA plan participants
* Assist in managing data and financial aspects of vendor partnerships, including rates/fees, performance guarantees, and other contract terms; provide financial assistance for any vendor audits
* Manage external benchmarking surveys for assigned benefit plans for which the company elects to participate
* Assist in costing/support for Labor Relations when working on benefits for which union represented associates are participating
* Ensure all compliance reports for assigned benefit plans are completed accurately and timely

Minimum Position Qualifications
* 3+ years of experience in benefit plan management and administration or financial/underwriting/actuarial experience
* 5+ years of experience in benefit plan financial management or financial/underwriting/actuarial experience
* Excellent oral/written communication skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Ability to conduct analysis of data
* Ability to persuade others and gain consensus
* Ability to effectively deliver formal presentations to all levels of an organization
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent attention to detail; results oriented
* Excellent follow-up and follow through skills
* Independent decision-making abilities
* Proven ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information
