Job Description: Radar Engineer that will develop and integrate Radar Applications into training systems. Work will involve creating Radar Simulation Models for Flight Simulators during all phases of Software Development including requirements, Code and Unit Test and Integration
Essential Functions:
* Develop and Integrate Radar Application into Training System
* Be familiar with all phases of Software Development Cycle
* Strong programming skills
* Experience in developing Radar applications
Qualifications:
* C++, ADA
* Be able to solve complex Radar simulation requirements for 6th generation fighters
* Perform Trade Studies, requirements development and Interface Definition Documents
* Support Integration and test, provide analysis and guidance of solving discrepancies in current software baseline
Preferred Additional Skills:
* DoD Secret Clearance is required
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related discipline
* 4+ years software development experience with DoD contract work
* Candidate should be a fast learner with very strong analysis and problem-solving skills
* Ability to carry tasks through to completion with only general technical direction
* Atlassian Jira or IBM Rational ClearQuest experience
* Good communications skills
